Christmas Play
Dec. 18th @ 6pm our youth is proud to present our Christmas Drama “The Really Really Really Good News”! We would love to have you join us. After the play we will have a cast party in the fellowship hall for everyone.
Christmas Dinner
Sunday December 11 we will have our church wide Christmas Dinner and time of fellowship. Please bring your favorite side dishes and dessert. After the dinner we will go Caroling to our shut-ins.
Christmas Parades
This Saturday we’ll be passing out 5,000 packages at the Clinton and Laurens parades. The packages we have put together have magnets with the Gospel message printed on them. We feel blessed to be able to be in the community and spread the Gospel message to Laurens County.
VBS 2016
VBS is about a month away! We will have VBS Kick-off June 11 9-12pm. This day is a day to register if you haven’t done it online but mostly it’s just a fun day for the kids to get to know the VBS workers. VBS will be the following week June 13-17 from 6:00pm-8:30pm. To register please go to the link at the top of the page. We are offering an adult class this year, if interested please register yourself on the adult class link.

Gospel Message
An Invitation to Meet Our Savior, Jesus Christ
- God wants you to be sure
The Bible says, ” These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life.” (1John 5:13)
- We are all sinners by nature and by choice
“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
3.There is a penalty for our sin – Hell
“The wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23)
4.The good news is that God has provided for the forgiveness of our sins – Jesus
” For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John3:16)
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
“Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.” (1 Peter 3:18)
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
- Jesus wants to save you today
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Our Response is to Receive Jesus
- We must repent of our sins.
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” (Acts 3:19)
a. Repentance is not just feeling sorry for our sins.
“Repent and turn to God, and do works, which give evidence of repentance.” (Acts 26:20)
b. Repentance is turning to God through Jesus and turning away from our sins.
2. We must place our faith in Jesus.
” By grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8)
a. Faith is trusting in Jesus.
Three Important Questions
1. Does what you have been reading make sense to you?
2. Is there any reason you would not be willing to receive God’s gift of eternal life?
3. Are you willing to turn from your sin and place your faith in Jesus right now?
You Need to Ask Jesus to Save You
Call upon the name of the Lord in repentance and faith and Jesus will become your Savior and Lord.
If you sincerely prayed to the Lord for forgiveness of your sins and have placed your faith in Jesus, you are saved and have eternal life. Welcome to the family of God.
